Sign in and Sign out in Sabre Red: Before any work can be performed in the Sabre system, you must sign into the system. There’re six work areas (or called Agent Assembly Areas, AAA) that allows you to work on different transactions concurrently without one transaction interfering with the other. It also enables more than one user to access the computer at the same location without affecting each other’s work.
These six areas are named as A, B, C, D, E and F.
How to sign in and sign out in Sabre Red
Sign in and Sign out in Sabre Red: You can sign in to one work area or all six work areas in a single entry.
Sabre sign-in Command
Entry: SIA1001
Explanation:
- SI – Function Identifier for Sign
- A – Work area “A”
- 1001 – Agent identification number
- 4 numerals that are unique to an agent within a travel agency setup.

Change Passcode
Every Passcode will expire in 90 days. The system will prompt you to change the Passcode 10 daysbefore the expiration.
About Sabre Passcode
Sabre Passcode should be 7–8 alphanumeric Passcode e.g. 123SABRE. It should not contain letter “Q”and “Z” and the same letter should not be continuously repeated 3 times or more. The Passcode should not be a common or offensive word.
About the New Passcode
The new Passcode should be entered after you have entered the current Passcode and prior to pressing the “ENTER” key. The new Passcode should be different from the last 4 Passcode used.

Multi Sign-In
Sign in and Sign out in Sabre Red: When you are already in one work area ( e.g. Area A) and would like to sign in to another area without signing out of current work area, you can use the Sign In function again to sign in to the desired area.

Sabre Sign-Out Command
Sign in and Sign out in Sabre Red: When you wish to leave the terminal for any length of time, the terminal should be signed out for security reasons. This will prevent anyone from accidentally or intentionally modifying data using another agent’s sign in code.
If there are no transactions done in a work area for 6Ø minutes, the system will automatically sign out that work area.
Entry : SO – Sign out the current work area
Entry : SO* – Sign out all the work areas that have been signed in by an agent.
