Sabre Name Entry Command
Sabre Name Entry Command: Passenger Name Field comprises of Passenger’s Name and Age (applicable for Child and Infant). 3 types of passengers will be covered in this manual, viz. Adult, Child and Infant. They are represented by Passenger Type Codes (PTC) ADT, CNN and INN, where NN is the age of the Child or Infant.
Each name has a designated Name Field Number for identification in the PNR. Note that this field must contain correct details as per passenger’s passport or travel document. Infant name cannot be the first item on the Name Field. The function that identifies this field is “–“
Adult Name (ADT)
ENTRY: –THOMPSON/MARYMS

Other Acceptable Titles for Adult are:
- MR – Male Adult, at least 12 years of age, Single or Married
- MRS – Female Adult, at least 12 years of age, Married
- MS – Female Adult, marital status not specified
- DR – M.D, PH D etc
Child Name (C02 – C11)
Passengers under 12 years old to 2 years of age are considered as a Child. It is important that the Child’s age is included in the Name Field.

Infant Name (I01 – I23)
Passengers under the age of 2 years old (i.e. 23 months old) or at least 1 month old are considered as an Infant. Infant name cannot be the first on the Name Field. This type of passenger is not occupying a seat thus different qualifier ( -I/ ) in the entry is being used.

Passengers (Adult or Child) with same Surname may be placed in one name field item. You CANNOT combine the Infant name with either Adult or Child.
